Adopt A Cat

Cat Adoption Team – CAT is one of Portland’s no-kill shelters that specializes in cats. They are having an Adopt-A-Thon July 1st – 6th, and all adult cat adoptions are only $25!

Oregon Humane Society – Another one of Portland’s no-kill shelters.

If you adopt a cat at either of these shelters, you will receive a coupon for a free exam from us here at Cat Care Professionals!

Lost Pets

If you or someone you know have lost your cat, there are many resources to help them find their way back home such as Pet Amber Alert, Oregon Humane Society, and Craigslist.

Stray and Feral Cats

Feral Cat Coalition – FCC improves the welfare of feral cats and helps to reduce their populations through education and spay/neuter programs. They offer spays/neuters for stray cats as well as information on what you can do when a cat shows up at your house or your workplace.

Pet Friendly Housing

Apartments and Homes for Rent – This is a great resource for anyone with a cat companion that is looking to find a new home for rent. It includes everything from listings to reference letters to moving tips.

Food Bank

There are several groups in the Portland area that offer free or low-cost food to pet owners including Cat Adoption Team and The Pogo Fund.

Veterinary Care and Boarding Facilities

Did you know that here at Cat Care Professionals, we not only offer veterinary care for your cat, but we offer boarding as well? You can even schedule an appointment or boarding reservation online.

Emergency Veterinary Care

Dove Lewis – Dove Lewis is one of the best emergency animal hospitals in Portland open 24 hours a day 7 days a week.

Pet Stores

If you’re looking for something in Lake Oswego, try Mud Bay or Healthy Pet. Both of these stores offer high-quality natural and healthful products for your feline friends.
